Fiona Begley - Director
Fiona has a substantial successful career history in the Healthcare Support services sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the National University of Ireland, Galway and an MBA from Henley Management College. Fiona worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors and held a number of key management, business development and marketing roles for Syva UK and Behring Diagnostics UK.
She joined Medscreen, specialists in drugs of abuse testing, in 1996 as Sales and Marketing Manager becoming its Managing Director in 2000. She led the management buy out, backed by Bowmark Capital, from US owners PharmChem in 2002 and the subsequent sale to AIM listed Concateno plc in 2006, becoming CEO. Working with Chairman Keith Tozzi, she successfully acquired a further 7 businesses to build the European market leader in drugs of abuse testing. Concateno was sold to Inverness Medical Innovations Inc in August 2009. More recently, Fiona has established Ingemino Ltd with Keith Tozzi with the intention of building a substantial testing business by a combination of acquisitive and organic growth.
Keith Tozzi - Director
Keith has wide experience at board level in creating and developing successful businesses. He was Group Technical Director (one of three executive directors) of Southern Water plc from 1992-96. From 1996-2000, he was Chief Executive of the British Standards Institution (a London based Independent Royal Charter Company) where he grew turnover to over £200 million and acquired businesses in the UK, South America and Eastern Europe to leverage the brand. From 2000- 2003, he was Group Chief Executive of Swan Group plc (owner of Mid Kent Water) and led a management buyout backed by WestLB. Following the sale of this group, Keith founded, listed on AIM and became Chairman of Inspicio plc, a world leading testing and inspection company that was sold for £264 million in January 2008 to 3i.
Most recently, Keith was Chairman of Concateno plc another special purpose vehicle he founded in April 2005 and which made a total of 8 acquisitions to become the European market leader in testing for drugs of abuse. Concateno was sold to Inverness Medical Innovations Inc in August 2009 for £153m. Keith and Fiona Begley founded Ingemino Ltd in July 2010 with the intention of building a substantial testing business by a combination of acquisitive and organic growth.
